I'm JC Almanza, founder of Wrong to Strong. 

For nearly two decades, my life was defined by gangs, addiction, violence, and incarceration.  

 I spent more than 17 years in jails and prisons across the United States and Mexico, believing my story was already written. It wasn't.

The transformation didn't happen overnight. It happened one decision at a time. I learned that lasting change isn't built on motivation—it's built on discipline, accountability, faith, and preparation.

Over the last 10 years, I've dedicated my life to helping others avoid the mistakes I made. I've developed and delivered programs inside correctional facilities, recovery centers, schools, and communities across the country.

I've partnered with Arizona State University, spoken to thousands of individuals and families, and built systems designed to help people prepare for successful reentry and long-term transformation. 

Wrong to Strong was created because I saw the same problem over and over again. People wanted to change, but they didn't have a roadmap. Families wanted to help, but they didn't know how.

This Academy is that roadmap. Inside, you'll find practical tools, proven systems, coaching, and a community that understands the journey because we've lived it ourselves.
